Zusammenfassung:601722 Disclosed is a meter disconnect relay (100). The relay (100) is comprised of a base (120), an actuator (112) situated within the base (120), a shuttle (116) and one or more disconnect switches (102). The shuttle (116) is at least partially comprised of non-conductive material and has one or more windows. The base (120) maintains a portion of the actuator (112) stationary and allows a plunger of the actuator (112) to move within the base (120). The shuttle (116) is operably connected to and moved by the plunger of the actuator (112). The shuttle (116) can be moved within the base (120) and at least a portion (1201) of the base (120) provides a stop for movement of the shuttle (116). The one or more disconnect switches (102) are opened or closed by movement of the shuttle (116). Each disconnect switch (102) is comprised of a rigid, conductive bridging section (108) pivotally connected to a first face of one of the one or more windows in the shuttle (116), wherein the bridging section (108) comprises at least two contacts (110). The rigid, conductive bridging section (108) is pivotally connected to the first face of the window in the shuttle (116) by one or more pins extending from the first face of the window. Each disconnect switch (102) is also comprised of a leaf spring (122) and a conductive source portion. The leaf spring (122) is pivotally connected to a second face of the one of the one or more windows of the shuttle (116), wherein the second face of the window is opposite the first face of the window and the leaf spring (122) applies force to the bridging section (108). The conductive source portion has a source contact and a conductive load portion having a load contact. The first and second contact of the at least two contacts (110) of the bridging portion (108) are caused to substantially simultaneously come in contact with and disconnect from the source contact and the load contact by movement of the shuttle (116).
