Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is a method of making a decorative laminate. The method includes providing at least one epoxy resin impregnated fiberboard sheet to form a core; placing at least one decorative layer adjacent to the core; and applying heat and pressure to the decorative layer and core in an amount sufficient to cure and form a decorative laminate. The density of the core of the decorative laminate ranges from about 1.15 g/cm 3 to about 1.35 g/cm 3 wherein the decorative laminate defines a flexural strength in the range of from about 110 to about 130 MPa under ISO 178.
