Wrap-around label, labelstock and labelling process

The specification relates a label formed from label stock. The label stock has a continuous web of material having a machine direction (MD) and a transverse direction (TD). The label includes a severed portion of the continuous web of material. The severed portion has a leading edge in the TD, a trailing edge in the TD, a first lateral edge in the MD, a second lateral edge in the MD, an A side; and a B side. The label has a MD fold about the severed portion of the continuous web of material. The MD fold has a first A to A fold and a second A to A fold. The label has an adhesive TD strip disposed on a back of the label across the leading edge and the trailing edge. The severed portion of the continuous web of material has printed or other information inside the MD fold. The printed or other information inside the MD fold is hidden until the MD fold is unfolded.
