Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed is a baton including an elongate housing (14) with a proximal end (24) and a distal end (26). The housing (14) defines a first compartment (156) located proximate the proximal end (24) and a second compartment (158) located proximate the distal end (26). Also included is a power source (157) located in the first compartment (156). The second compartment (158) is adapted to removably receive interchangeably from the distal end (26) an operative component (30) selected from the group consisting of a training module, a light source, a laser generator, a sound generator, an incapacitation waveform generator, and combinations thereof. The operative component (30) comprises a connection element to secure the operative component (30) within the second compartment. The connection element is secured with a fastener which is accessed from the first compartment (156).
