Zusammenfassung:	A buckle assembly 1 for a harness has a connector 18 for a first strap 14, and a connector 26 for a second strap 22 with the connectors being formed so that cooperatively form a combined receiver engaging portion 54/64 whose combined status is maintained by its engagement with the receiver 32, and substantially undone by release from engagement with the receiver. There are typically two such buckle assemblies, one at each side of the receiver 32, for a five point harness.
