Zusammenfassung:	A float operated reciprocating pump is disclosed including a float (14) and a closed cylinder (1) connected to either the float (14) or the seabed. The closed cylinder (1) has a fluid inlet (6) and a fluid outlet (5) and a piston (2) is longitudinally movable in the cylinder. A passage extends through the piston (2) and communicates with a check valve (9). A first rod or tube (3) is connected to a first end of the piston (2) and extends through an end (7) of the closed cylinder (2). The first rod or tube (3) is connected to either of the float (14) or seabed that is not connected to the closed cylinder (2). A second rod or tube (4) is connected to a second end of the piston (2) and has a larger diameter than the first rod or tube (3).
