Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a titanium transaction card for improved strength and durability. The method includes the steps of cutting a first sheet of metal to create a card body, cutting a second sheet of metal to create a back panel and bonding both sheets with adhesive. A pocket or recess is milled into the card body and a microchip is inserted where the adhesive electrically insulates the microchip. Further recesses can be milled in the card body for indicia such as magnetic stripes, security holograms or images, or the card body surfaces can be covered by polymer sheets.
