A NEW CLASS OF CHLOROFLEXI-IIKE THERMOPHILIC CELLULOSE DEGRADING BACTERIA

Disclosed is a new class of Chloroflexi-like bacteria. The bacteria are thermophilic cellulose degrading bacteria. Compositions and methods for degrading cellulose using the Chloroflexi-like bacteria are also provided.
