Zusammenfassung:	A transit vehicle glazing assembly comprises a window pane (22), a box-shaped first frame (18) that surrounds the opening covered by the window pane and a second frame (20) sized to fit within the space enclosed by the first frame. The first frame has a flange (28) extending into the opening spaced from the interior surface (24) of the window pane (22) and has a detent (30) facing away from the window pane. The second frame (20) forms a channel with a first leg (32) secured to the window pane by an adhesive and a second leg (36) spaced from and parallel to the flange (28) having a detent (34) facing towards the window. An elastomeric strip (38) is positioned in the space between the flange (28) and the second leg (36) and a plurality of U-shaped clips (42) secure the second frame (20) to the first frame (18).
