Zusammenfassung:	A mechanism for converting between linear reciprocating piston motion and rotary motion of a z-shaft (2) via a wobble member (6) is disclosed. The mechanism has a resiliently flexible torque restraint member (20) coupled between the wobble member (at points 21a and 21b) and a casing of the mechanism (at points 22a and 22b) to react torque transmitted to the shaft to the reference point while allowing oscillating movement of the wobble member. The torque restraint member (20) may be a plate or plate-like in a plane across the mechanism.
