Mixer for attachment to a power tool for mixing viscous materials having S-shaped paddles

A mixer (10) is disclosed for attachment to a power tool for mixing a viscous material. The mixer (10) comprises a shaft (12) and a plurality of paddles (14) attached to and extending radially from the shaft (12). An outside surface (30) of each paddle opposite the shaft includes a convex portion (32) that runs less than a full length of the paddle (14) and forms an outermost radial extent of the mixer. The paddles (14) each have a general radiused "S"-shape between a leading surface and a trailing surface of the paddle (14). A support arm (18) extends radially from the shaft (12) forming a "T"-shape with each of the paddles (14) in the same plane as the convex portion (32). The "S"-shape is formed in a plane at 90-degrees to the said "T"-shape. A further mixer (10) is also disclosed including a two-part collar attaching the paddles (14) to the shaft (12).
