Zusammenfassung:	A method of ultrasound imaging is disclosed. The method includes transmitting an acoustic transmit signal including at least one transmit acoustic frequency such that at least some of the acoustic energy of the transmit signal is transmitted into a body to be imaged. The body is of material which has a response to the acoustic energy which will produce a demodulation of the transmit signal to produce a demodulated signal. The method further includes receiving an acoustic receive signal at a receive frequency. The receive frequency is approximately equal to the frequency of the demodulated signal. The receive signal substantially comprises echoes of the demodulated signal. Apparatuses implementing this method are also disclosed.
