Zusammenfassung:	An apparatus (1) for adjusting an electrode (5) for a metallurgical furnace is disclosed. The apparatus is mounted using a clamping ring (3) and a mounting ring (4) in the furnace roof (15). The mounting ring (4) is designed to be installed so that its lower edge (16) is formed flush with the lower edge (17) of the furnace roof (15). The electrode is moved vertically using hydraulic rams (6) attached to the clamping ring (3). At least one contact clamp (13) forms part of the mounting ring (4) which supplies electricity to the electrode (5).
