Zusammenfassung:	A bone fixation plate (10) is disclosed. A retention system for the screws holding the plate (10) in place is described. The retention system relies on the interaction between the head (14) of the screws and a flexible wire (18) that runs over the top of a screw aperture (15). The screw heads (14) engage the flexible wire (18) with a slot preventing any back-out after tightening. The method allows for the relative movement of the plate (10) with respect to the screws and hence the bone but stops any rotation of the screws.
