Disubstituted pyrazolobenzodiazepines useful as inhibitors for CDK2 and angiogenesis, and for the treatment of breast, colon, lung and prostate cancer

Disclosed are 7,8-disubstituted pyrazolo[3,4-b][1,4]benzodiazepines of formula IV or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the substituents are as defined herein. Also disclosed is the use of a compound of formula IV as defined above or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of cancer, particular breast cancer, prostate cancer, colon cancer and lung cancer. Additionally disclosed are processes for the preparation of the compounds of formula IV, and pharmaceutical compositions which comprise a compound as defined above together with pharmaceutically acceptable adjuvants. .
