Zusammenfassung:A temperature control system for cooling food at an optimal temperature is disclosed. The system includes a pan for holding food (28), a cooling device (40), first and second insulation members (42, 44), and a channel filled with glycol coolant medium (36). The pan (28) has an opening, a lateral side wall, and a bottom for holding the food. The cooling device (40) cools the opening (32) more than it cools the bottom (34). The side wall (30) has the first insulation member (42) around it and the second insulation member (44) surrounds the first insulation member and the sidewall (30). The channel (36) is defined between the lateral wall (30) and the second insulation member (44) and is wider near the sidewall (36) than near the bottom (34).
