| Zusammenfassung: | Disclosed is a liquid composition for the treatment of an oral mucocutaneous disorder, consisting essentially of 0.1w/w% to about 3.0w/w% of one or more mucoadhesives in an aqueous solution that exhibits pseudoplastic behaviour when shear is applied and has a zero-shear viscosity at 37 ± 1 degree Celsius of 5,000 to 20,000 centipoise wherein the mucoadhesive consists of one or more linear or cross-linked polymer(s) selected from the group consisting of polyacrylic acid, carbomer, carboxymethylcellulose, hydroxyalkylcellulose, dextran sulfate, dermatan sulfate, chitosan, and a water-soluble vinyl polymer. |
