Zusammenfassung: | A mooring cleat that is able to automatically retract into the deck or other surface of a boat is disclosed. The cleat includes a frame with an upper surface 3 from which first and second members 1, 2 extend along diverging paths. The members are driven by an actuation mechanism 5, 22, 23 and in the retracted position are either below or flush with the upper surface. A mooring line tied around the extended members will automatically be released when the members move to the retracted position. |
