Zusammenfassung:	R-(-)-1-[2-(7-chlorobenzo[b]thiophen-3-yl-methoxy)-2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-ethyl]-1H-imidazole of formula (I) and R-(-)-1-[2-(7-chlorobenzo[b]thiophen-3-yl-methoxy)-2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-ethyl]-1H-imidazole mononitrate are disclosed. A process for preparing each of these compounds is also described. These compounds are useful either in a pharmaceutical composition for treating fungal infections in humans and animals or in an agricultural composition for combating crop diseases.
