An implant composition containing melengestrol acetate (MGA) and trenbolone acetate (TBA) that increases the growth performance, suppresses oestrus and prevents pregnancy in heifers. Preferably, the MGA and TBA can be provided in the same, separate or both separate and the same pellets.
