Zusammenfassung: | A method for introducing a nucleic acid molecule into the genome of an avian species, comprising contacting in vivo a blastodermal cell in a laid fertilized egg with an isolated nucleic acid molecule, wherein (a) said nucleic acid molecule is not associated with a viral coat protein, (b) wherein said nucleic acid molecule is introduced directly into the germinal disc of said egg in a volume of greater than 1 microlitre and less than 0.5 millilitres, and (c) said nucleic acid molecule is integrated into a host chromosome of said blastodermal cell, thereby introducing said nucleic acid molecule into the genome of said avian species. |
