Method and systems for bioremediating contaminated soil

A system (1) and method for remediation of contaminated soil (15) removed from a soil site is provided. The contaminated soil (15) is placed upon several layers of perforated heating pipes (14a, 14b, 14c) forming a remediation cell (10), and the entire cell (10) is covered by a galvanized Quonset Hut-shaped steel building (17) to prevent the escape of vapors from the soil cell (10). Heating air introduced into perforated heating pipes (14a, 14b, 14c) conductively heats the contaminated soil (15) creating a differential pressure area around the heated pipes (14a, 14b, 14c). This results in the migration of volatilized contaminates and moisture through the perforations in the pipe walls and into the lower pressure area within the heated steel pipes (14a, 14b, 14c), forcing the contaminants from the soil (15) and into an off-gas treatment system (19)
