Zusammenfassung:	A support and discharge mechanism for a conveyer includes a support member 146 that is attached to a conveyor chain. The support member supports a cup assembly 160. The cup is pivotally attached to a pair of radius arms 153, 154 that are pivotally attached to the support member. A latch assembly 171 is also attached to the cup assembly. The latch assembly has a latching member that engages the support member. An upward force on the latch assembly causes the latch member to disengage from the support member allowing the cup to pivot downwardly and discharge a load supported on the cup.
