Cyclic peptide for inhibiting parasitic and antifungal activity

Use of cyclic peptides of formula (I) for treating parasitic and antifungal infections. In particular, the use of the echinocandin class of cyclic peptide antifungal agents against the protozoan, Pneumocystis carinii is disclosed.
