Zusammenfassung:	Compositions of a copper containing compound and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier effective for passing the copper through the skin of an animal and a process for the treatment of copper deficiency in warm- blooded animals e.g. cattle by the topical application of such compositions. The compositions may also contain anthelmintics such as tetramisole and other organophosphorous, pyrethrin and pyrethoid pesticides. A preferred composition comprises copper chloride and a polyether as carrier.
