Zusammenfassung:	In a strip steel punch tool with a supporting plate (1), wherein strip steel punch cutters (3) projecting beyond the surface (8) of the supporting plate (1) are held in slots (2) and profiled strips (7, 7') made of resilient material, preferably rubber, cellular rubber, rubber cork or the like, are fastened to the supporting plate (1) in parallel and next to the said cutters, these profiled strips protruding above the cutting edge (6) of the strip steel punch cutters (3) with their punching material contact face (9), it is proposed, in order to punch clean edges especially in large numbers, that the profiled strip (7, 7') be constructed such that, when loaded vertically, its punching material contact face (9) is displaced towards the strip steel punch cutter (3).
