Zusammenfassung: | The tubular sound damper, in particular for use in ventilation ducts, consists of an outer tubular container 1 with a central inlet 7 and outlet 8, a sound-damping mineral fibre material being arranged on the inside of the container wall 2 in such a manner that a central passage is formed between the inlet and the outlet, and the mineral wool material in towards the passage being provided with a perforated material. The sound-damping material consists of a mineral fibre which is orientated radially in the sound damper, and a fabric 13 with an open structure is applied to that side of the material facing in towards the passage. The fabric preferably consists of non-flame-spreading material textile material and is applied by gluing. The mineral fibre material is formed by a mat of mineral wool fibres, the fibres being orientated across the outer surfaces of the mat, and the mat is installed in the container in such a manner that abutting edges on the latter are pressed against one another. |
