Zusammenfassung:	The present specification discloses a flow line plug which is insertable into the open end of a flow line and can seal the flow line. The plug has anchoring means (18) for engaging the bore (B) of the flow line (L) and sealing means (13) which are deformable into sealing engagement with said bore (B) to close said bore. The flow line plug is primarily adaptable for use with underwater flow lines, the anchor means (18) and the sealing means (13) being operable sequentially so that the anchor means (18) is firmly engaged prior to the movement of the sealing means (13) into the sealing position, the plug being operable either by a manual means (33) or a hydraulic means (35, 36, 38 Figure 5 not shown).
