Zusammenfassung:The wear tip (24) has a wear face at the front and a cavity especially a tapered socket at its rear. An adaptor (18) is fixed to the excavator bucket and has a tapered nose that fits into the wear tip socket. An ear extends from the rear of the adaptor that forms, in conjunction with the adapter a slot into which a lock (41) may engage. The lock may be released by insertion of a pry tool (T) and may include a latch and resilient part. Independent claims are also included for the following (a) The lock (b) The method to mount the wear tip (c) The method to remove the wear tip.
