Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a method for easily applying a solid electrolytic layer to a porous electrode (6) with complex surface geometry for a solid oxide fuel cell. The especially tubularly embodied electrode (6) is immersed in a suspension (4) containing solid constituents (F, G) made from a solid electrolytic material. Preferably, a pressure difference is created so that a solvent (L) contained in the suspension (4) infiltrates the electrode (6) cavity (10) and is extracted therefrom. The thickness of the deposited layer of solid matter (32) is determined by the quantity of extracted solvent (L).
