Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a system for controlling access to an external device, including a first device and a second, external device, both including wireless communication units using a common communication protocol. One of said devices includes an acoustic transmitter being configured to transmit acoustic signals at least partially within the ultrasonic range, and the second of the devices includes an acoustic receiver configured to receive acoustic signals at least partially in the ultrasonic range. The transmitted ultrasonic signal has predetermined characteristics and said receiver being configured to recognize said characteristics and, at the receipt of said ultrasonic signal at the second device initiating a wireless communication using said communication protocol.
