Zusammenfassung:	In a tread profile for a vehicle tyre having at least one circumferential longitudinal groove (1) and transverse grooves (2) which extend away from the longitudinal groove (1) and between which in each case profile blocks (5) laterally bound the longitudinal groove, there is provision, according to the invention, in order to increase the transmission of drive forces and braking forces, for the profile blocks (5) to have in the central region of their side face (10) which bounds the longitudinal groove (1) in each case one block projection (13) which protrudes into the longitudinal groove (1) and protrudes from the surface of the profile into the base of the longitudinal groove.
