Zusammenfassung:	The wear and rate of consumption of an acyl isethionate cleanser bar contg. an unesterified, water-soluble alkali metal isethionate, as hardener and processing auxiliary, can be reduced without impairing foaming properties, by incorporating, by wt. w.r.t. total wt. of cleanser article, (a) 1-10(2-6)% alkoxyhydroxy-propane-sulphonate of formula CH3-(CH2)n-CH2-O-CH2-CHOH-CH2-SO3M (I), (where n is 6-18 and M is Na, K, Ca, Mg or NH4) and (b) 1.2(0.1-1) esp. 0.6-1% NaCl. The cleanser is used as a toilet cleanser bar. The addn. of (I) and NaCl can reduce wear, e.g., from 3.72 g.-/wash to 3.15 g./wash, without changing foam ratio.
