Zusammenfassung:	Novel cholinesalicylate-carboxy-lower alkyl-cellulose-metal complexes are obtained by forming an aqueous solution of a carboxy-lower alkyl-cellulose and cholinesalicylate, adding a source of a physiologically tolerated, at least doubly charged, metal ion in a quantity such that a complex is formed of the components, allowing the reaction mixture to stand until it thickens, and subsequently drying it. The novel compounds are stable, pharmaceutically active, cholinesalicylate compounds.
