Zusammenfassung:	Trans 4-(p-fluoro phenyl) 3-((3,4-(methylene dioxy)phenoxy) methyl)piperidine is made by reaction of the methanosulphonate ester of trans 3-hydroxymethyl 4-(p-fluorophenyl) piperidine with an equimolar amount of 3,4-methylene dioxy phenol. Reaction is carried out in an inert solent in presence of an equimolar amount of NaOH or KOH, at from 60 deg.C to reflux temp.. The prod. is isolated and purified by conventional means.
