Zusammenfassung:	A process for the production of vinyl chloride polymers suitable for the production of pastes, in which a mixture of water and a monomer soluble free radical yielding initiator dissolved in a solvent therefor is subjected to homogenization in the presence of a surfactant and mixed with the monomeric material to be polymerized, the monomeric material then being polymerized to form vinyl chloride polymer. None of the vinyl chloride to be polymerized is homogenized in the claimed process.
