A device for storing tape rolls comprises a tray 160, a divider 170 forming a series of channels for the tapes within the tray and inclined runways 190 inserted between the channels. Instead of runways 190 the lower surface 161 of the tray may be inclined. The forward edge of the walls of the divider 170 nest in slots 185 in a trapezoidal positioning member 180 forming a barrier to forward motion of the tapes. Inclined runway 190 may also be placed on top of the tapes. The assembly of tray, divider and runways may be inserted in a container 200 having front covers provided with tabs and slots. An alternative divider (Fig. 2) comprises a tray having fixed or variably positioned dividers (126) forming parallel channels.
