The invention relates to a bead-apex handling station for supplying bead-apexes to a tire building device and/or for storing bead-apexes from a bead-apex manufacturing device, wherein the bead-apex handling station comprises a turret that is rotatable about a rotation axis, wherein the turret comprises a first holder, a second holder and a third holder distributed in a circumferential direction about the rotation axis, wherein each holder of the first holder, the second holder and the third holder is arranged for receiving a stack of spacers for bead-apexes, wherein the bead-apex handling station defines a swapping zone, a first handling zone and a second handling zone distributed in the circumferential direction about said rotation axis, wherein the turret is rotatable in a rotation direction in which the first holder, the second holder and the third holder pass sequentially through the swapping zone, the first handling zone and the second handling zone.
