COMPOSITE STRUCTURE FOR SHIELDING AND ABSORBING X-RAYS

Disclosed is a composite structure for shielding and absorbing X-rays, which comprises a 5 radiation protection layer, a first absorption layer, an intermediate layer, a reflecting layer and a second absorption layer. The reflecting layer is disposed on the second absorption layer, the intermediate layer is disposed on the reflecting layer, the first absorption layer is disposed on the intermediate layer, and the radiation protection layer is disposed outside the first absorption layer. The radiation protection layer, the intermediate layer and the reflecting layer are all made of a 10 material with a high X-ray reflectivity, and the first absorption layer and the second absorption layer are each made of a radiation protection material. The present invention significantly improves the overall radiation protection capability by using different materials to form corresponding protection layers and controlling the thickness thereof to achieve the complementary effect among the different layers.
