Folding assembly for a cart, comprising: a bottom unit extending between a first end and a second end; an upper unit hingedly coupled to the bottom unit at the first end to be adjustable between an upper unit folded position in which the upper unit is at a first distance from the second end of the bottom unit and an upper unit operational position in which the upper unit is at a second, larger distance from the second end; and a rigid support unit hingedly coupled to the upper unit at a distance from the first end, engageable along the bottom unit to allow adjustment between the upper unit folded position and the upper unit operational position by hinging of the support unit with respect to the upper unit between a support unit folded position and a support unit operational position.
