Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a lifting device and to a lifting platform for lifting and lowering vehicles or loads, with a base body (14) and with a support (17) moveable up and down relative to the base body (14), with a drive device 5 (30) for lifting and lowering the support (17), wherein a guide (19) is provided on the support (17), which guide is fixedly connected to the support (17), and the guide (19) has at least one support arm (26, 27) which is mounted at least on one side so as to be extendable in the horizontal lO direction through the guide (19).
