Abstract Wind turbine lighting system comprising at least one tower light unit comprising at least one light emitting element for emitting a light output with a light intensity, a converter for converting power to an input power with a predetermined voltage level; wherein the predetermined voltage level of the input power is adjustable. This voltage level is used to control or regulate the light intensity output of the tower light units connected to the converter outputting the power with the said voltage level. [Fig. 1]
