Zusammenfassung:	A system for supporting a work platform in a suspended position. The system comprises a first support beam configured to extend substantially horizontally beneath a work platform and support the work platform thereon. The system further comprises a second support beam configured to extend substantially vertically from the first support beam; and a guide element configured to guide a suspension element over an end of the second support beam distal from the first support beam. The second support beam comprises a detachable portion configured to be releasably coupled between the guide element and the second support beam.
