Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of a gelatine composition comprising the steps of: providing at least two gelatine extracts, said extracts being obtainable from a gelatine comprising raw material treated under alkaline and/or acidic conditions and b) blending the at least two gelatine extracts to obtain a gelatine composition. The present invention also relates to a gelatine composition, and a gelatine product comprising said gelatine composition, together with the use of said composition and said gelatine products.
