Zusammenfassung: | An apparatus (1) for continuously removing a floating layer, e.g. from water contaminated with oil or fat, uses a driven collector with an depth (4) adjustable for the thickness of the layer. The collector oscillates around a fixed horizontal axis formed from the outlet tube (7) through which the removed material passes. By adjusting the amount of material received, the collector returns to the water surface by means of a counter balance (9) and continues to remove the contaminant. Also claimed is the outlet tube used in the apparatus described above whose open length (10) is equal to the collector (2) and the means for adjusting the angle. |
