Zusammenfassung:	A bus system for illumination has operating sensors, a convertor to change the two-wire telegrams from the bus system into telegrams for controlling the lighting in open and closed loop fashion, the lamps being connected to mains busbars. By means of the converter (5), one or more lamps (2 to 4) can be switched on or off, or their brightness adjusted. The converter takes the two-wire telegrams with which the on/off or brightness states are realised from the system, unformats them in a microcontroller and feeds them into the busbars through a network matching circuit, whereby a lamp gets its relevant telegram and by means of a microcontroller the required lamp state is achieved.
