Zusammenfassung:	A low mol.wt. unsatd. polyester resin compsn. for a sheet moulding cpd. comprises: (a) a low mol.wt. unsatd. polyester comprising a polycondensation product of a polyhydric alcohol and an ethylenically unsatd. polycarboxylic acid; and (b) unsatd. end caps which are able to block the polyester chain ends from complexing with thickening agents during maturation leading to low pressure moulding cpds., and are opt. able to react with the unsatd. polyester or an olefinically unsatd. monomer if present.
