Zusammenfassung:The pit for taking drain water samples has a plastic housing (2) with a vertical duct (4) closeable with bottom section (3). Top of duct (4) is closeable with a lid. The housing (2) has a bottom part (2a) and at the top a cylindrical insert muff (5) with outwardly sloping flange rim (6) and top part (2b). Housing (2) has two diametrical opposed cylindrical insert muffs (7,8) positioned just above bottom section (3) of housing (2). Between insert muffs (7,8) are the inlet and outlet apertures of pit (1). Between insert muffs (7,8) and the bottom part (3) is a half-cylindrical gulley (9). Recess (11) houses a wedge shaped bottom part.
