The frame (7) is covered with a thin sheet (8) of porous or perforated material and dimensioned to produce a large number of resonant eigenmodes in the 20 to 100 Hz band. The ends (19-22) of the backrest and frame are suspended by elastic strings (15-18) from a hook (23) cantilevered at the to of a stand (24).
