Zusammenfassung:	A new form of zeolite ZSM-12 containing chromium and/or iron in the as-synthesised form and only a small amount of aluminium, and possessing the x-ray diffraction pattern characteristic of ZSM-12. A method of synthesising the new form is disclosed, the reaction mixture containing Cr and/or Fe but not added alumina, the alumina content of the product zeolite being derived from alumina incidentally present in the synthesis regime. Various catalytic usages of the new form of the zeolite are described.
